And yet again they play a meh OOC schedule. Why doesn't the team try to challenge themselves OOC like wrestling or mens lax? UConn is a pushover and they're our best OOC game. They should toughen up the OOC schedule to prepare for the B1G.

It says that their first game is August 8th. Is that regular season it doesn't say scrimmage. Does anyone know that is very early.

The Big 10 road schedule is brutal. They are gonna have to take care of business at home.

O'Neill needs to start taking a page out of Goodale's and Brecht's books and schedule real OOC opponents. Our OOC schedule is trash...a washed up UConn is the only team with an RPI with 100 or better. Playing trash teams OOC will not prepare the team properly for the B1G.

O’Neill has done almost everything perfectly since taking over this program so, being that he knows his team and conference opponents a lot better than you are I do, I’m gonna trust his judgment on this year’s schedule.

I would also like to see a tougher OCC schedule. One of Mike's considerations may be that booking tougher teams probably entails more traveling & he wants to spare the girls that wear & tear before the Big season, which entails it's own share of traveling. If you notice most, if not all of our OCC opponents, with the exception of George Mason, are in our general geographic area. Just a guess.

Why not play Princeton? They were a tourney team last year. I'm not asking for murderers row but maybe 1-2 challenging OOC games like a UNC or UVA. ACC has plenty of choices if travel is a reason behind a weak OOC.

Can't speak to Women's Soccer, but in MLAX, it wasn't easy. Teams simply wouldn't play us. And when they did, they backed out before the series was over (Uva). Thankfully we got the program to a level it where beating us was a good win and losing wasn't a bad loss.

Princeton would be good. Thought they were on the schedule, but was wrong.

Given that it seems every Rutgers sport that has to rely on a committee has gotten screwed so many times in the recent past (MLax, WSoc, WBB,) I’m totally fine with this schedule. I’m a firm believer now that winning games is wayyy more important than playing good teams. How many times do we complain about teams being ranked high that have a good record but have played no one. I’m against that belief itself, but you gotta play to the system.
