Everett Wormley has a message for all Rutgers football fans.
No matter what transpires on the field this season, no matter how dire the Scarlet Knights’ state of affairs in 2016 appear, the three-star wide receiver recruit is fully on board with first-year head coach Chris Ash and company.
“I’m 100 percent committed to Rutgers,” Wormley, who verbally committed in April, said with a smile. “I’m here for the process, I’m here to rebuild and I want to put this team on the map. That way I can say I represent New Jersey and I just go hard for Rutgers.”

“They’re definitely rebuilding. The Michigan game was a very rough game, but like Coach Ash said, they’re not really ready to compete at that high of a level yet with Michigan and Ohio State. They’re just trying to build a program, they’re trying to recruit guys like myself and the other recruits that they’ve recruited from New Jersey to get it going. That way they can play teams like that.”
