The SEC Network televises the Paul Finebaum Show each afternoon. Would you like to see something similar on the Big Ten Network ?

It is simulcast on over the air radio down here. Listen to it on drive home every afternoon on 93.5 FM. As much as I may try to defend the south at times, his show will make your ears bleed with 95% of his callers. I speak with a typical NJ fast cadence, and I think that just amplifies the slow drawn out questions he gets. Not many big time thinkers calling that show.

Because of limited alternatives I listen to Finebaum. Man, I feel like I'm listening to the radio version of "Deliverance".

It would be cool to listen to someone talk B1G sports every afternoon with live interactions with callers that isnt BTN Live. But only if its not anywhere near as embarrassing as Finebaum show

Finebaum built his originally radio show in Alabama based on the lowest common denominator (bottom of the barrel) and the execs at ESPN thought it would be funny (and attractive) to expose it over the air (radio and TV).

There is almost never any analysis/breakdown of teams/games, etc...as his show spends 90% of their air time giving nuts their 15 mins of fame.

Not sure that format would work in other areas of the country.

PS. I even now a few "educated" SEC fans that don't spend one second listening to Finebaum...as its more targeted toward the Walmart T-Shirt/Trailer Park Crowd (i.e. most that never went to college but cheer for their in-state SEC team).

Hell yeah i would love a show like his on the B1G network. Fellas they talk college football year round HARD! This is what it's all about cfb, my #1 past time.
