gotta say what assholes. First time ever as a long time fan and season ticket holder I had to call security up to my section to send two assholes packing for being total assholes. Believe me I would have much preferred to drip these scumbags but at 55 I need to be more responsible. In any event **** Michigan forevermore.

Same thing just happened in 127.

There weren't this many UM fans 2 years ago when WE BEAT THEM. Front running fanbase of a bully program with a classless prick for a head coach. Maybe he's sore that the Giants beat him en route to hoist the Lombardi trophy and he's taking it out on little old Rutgers who plays just down the road. 2-point conversion two years in a row is horses#it and everyone who watches football knows it. Go do that against Ohio State. Oh wait..you can't.

The irony of all this of course is that college football is a ridiculously tilted playing field. Teams like michigan get tens of millions of dollars per year more than we do, fawning media coverage, then use those things to pillage our state for talent and come beat us and we're supposed to act like the deck hasn't been ludicrously stacked against us when they run up the score.

F THEM. This game has made me a Michigan hater for life. I hope they lose in agonizing fashion this year.

I don't disagree. Harbaugh called off the dogs early in the 3rd quarter. All he did was hand the ball off virtually the entire 2nd half.

We couldn't stop you even when we knew you were going to run it between the tackles. The defense, LBs especially, we're just completely gassed by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Yup. Poor recruiting = so-so 1st teamers = no quality depth = worn out defense.

Starts from the top with their coach and the scumbag kids from Jersey who come home with the sole goal of shoving it in our face.
This is patently absurd. If the shoe was on the other foot, you would celebrate them playing well in front of their family and friends.

And why are they "scumbag" kids? Just because they didn't pick Rutgers? They are at a top-flight public university, playing home games in front of more than 100,000 for a school with a long tradition of high-quality play in a major conference. Good for them. Now let's get better players and come back and kick their asses.

Michigan goes for 2 in the 2nd quarter, calls a timeout with the clock already stopped, and runs the ball the entire 2nd half but UM is classless.

Meanwhile, RU guys are calling out to target Peppers and intentionally injure UM players. Speaking of class........................
the comments were 1st half prior to the above. I think your coach made a nice comeback there. it was on us in the 2nd half and we embarrased ourselves. and if you read my post about that POS Peppers I pointed out that trying to injure him was not what I personally meant.

Yes of course because like I said you came into our state and took away the best talent--courtesy of your built-in advantages that teams like yours zealously defend and always have. When you do that and tilt the playing field so much against programs like ours of course it's going to be a romp. But there's nothing generous about slowing down your offense when you've already marginalized us and made your victory all but inevitable. It's like an Olympic boxer from the United States, with every advantage possible, not quite pounding the crap out of a guy from a slum in Zimbabwe and saying gee I went easy on you.

Sounds like you could use a safe space.

I wouldn't call them scum bags but I would say they're kind of ungrateful. The tax payers of New Jersey paid to educate them for K-12 and paid for the coaches and athletic facilities that got them to the point of being good enough to get a scholarship and then they thank the tax payers by taking their skills--and all the money and other benefits that come with those skills--to another state instead of their own. If nobody gives back to the "machine" eventually it stops working.

you don't have to be an ass about it (him not you). he's a great player no doubt. but the antics and him shushing the crowd? no, he's different. I didn't feel this way about Eli Apple or Ron Dayne, etc.

You know why coach called that timeout prior to the punt? Did you read his lips? He told Peppers to chill on the return yet Peppers still made a game out of the return playing with the Rutgers team on it.

Should perhaps correct..Scumbag KID (singular)

Sat in section 209, surrounded by UM fans. They were fine. Really. Not one of them acted poorly. Further, our fans took the hurt in stride. Hey folks, we got whooped, plain and simple. All we can do is use the experience to motivate the program. Much work to do to be competitive. I feel for the players and the staff. Outgunned and outcoached.

I was around Michigan fans and they were fine.

I had the same experience. There are good and bad in every fanbase. No problem with the UM fans around me, most were aware that they where by far the better team on the field, and didn't act overly obnoxious at any point. I found the Iowa fans to be worse.

Anyway... Things will get better. Ash needs a couple more years to get a few players. A QB who forces defenses to play straight up and honest. A couple of burners to catch passes. It will come, you'll see. Also, when you are collecting your full share of the Big Ten money, that should improve the program.

It is easy to be a Michigan football fan or a Yankees fan. The real challenge is to be Detroit Lions fan. So I can understand your situation. Hang in there and see you next season.

Go Blue
