1. Single match tix went on sale today for RWrestling vs Iowa.

2. Journeyman Classic 10/5/14 @ Niskayuna is loaded with talent from NY, NJ & other states. Here's a good preview: http://www.newyorkwrestlingnews.com/news_article/show/422461?referrer_id=1024554
- Will we have any R coaches attending? Any fans here going?

3. Flo Rankings:
- Perrotti ranked #5 @ 157: http://www.flowrestling.org/asics-florankings/college/157
- Ashnault isn't ranked at 141 but if you watch the video they think he could AA.
- Theo ranked #20 @ 149.
- More rankings coming this week & I'd expect Campo & Smith to be ranked @ 197 & 285, respectively (although Campo may not be if he's out until Spring semester).

4. Molinaro was officially named an assistant coach @ TTFP: http://www.gopsusports.com/sports/m-wrestl/spec-rel/093014aab.html. His wife is an assistant coach for their gymnastics team.

5. Andrew Alton had knee surgery & won't return until Jan/Feb, if at all this season: http://www.pennlive.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/09/penn_state_wrestler_andrew_alt.html. Also in that article is speculation that Retherford, Megaludis & many others may redshirt this year.

Pomrinca from North Hunterdon signed a LOI with Lehigh over Princeton and Cornell.
 
seems like Lehigh is getting the benefit of Buxton being at the LVAC and the new Caruso training facility. plenty of recruiting battles with them in the future I imagine.

Haha about time Leo got RU in that room. Hopefully some productive recruiting is going on also.
 
Is Gentile wrestling at any off season tournaments? I see Lipari is at super 32 and the Edison kid is going to journeyman, just wondering if Gentile is gonna wrestle.

Juniors coming to wrestling tailgate for Michigan are Correnti, Grello of BC, Paitzel from Pburg and Donner. Nice group. At practice now with the heavier weights. Great way to get individual instruction. Others follow at 3.
 
Being a Pburg alum I'd love to see Paetzell at RU. He's legit, just needs to get bigger.

Can't say I'm surprised.

He's certainly capable of being ranked, he just has to prove himself all over again after having been off the mat for an extended period.

Paitzel is coming here. Book it! The Ohio State match is at the barn because that is Super Bowl day so no one other than me will be there which is why it is not at the RAC and at 6 or 7 pm.

I like all four of them WNG, are we in contact with Bierdumpfel? Like 32 said Paetzel has to put on some weight.
 
I believe Bier is coming here. Will check. It is wonderful to see Scott let Donny do his thing in practice. He is killing it and making Scott's job so much easier.
 
Billy Smith ranked #14 on Flowrestling. Eight of the top 14 from the Big 10.

The Barn is an awful venue & should not host a top team like tOSU. On 2/1, 3 B1G WBB games start @ 3 pm & 1 starts @ 4 pm so they should've pushed the WBB game to 3 or 4 & had the match at 11 or 12, or move either to Saturday 1/31.

Only 1 top 10 recruit left and to be honest he is a mystery. Matthew Kolodzik out of Blair is ranked #7 by Intermat, if I had to guess I would put my money on Cornell landing him.
 
Saw paetzell committed! Good to see. He's awesome, just needs to get bigger.
 
yesterday's football game was a great one to take recruits to. very nice seeing all the positive things happening in the whole athletic department.
