Yahoo BIG prediction - RU 5 in East

Prediction are going to be mediocre until RU convincingly knocks off some of the traditional B1G powerhouses -a few times ... because -
Right now the 'predictors' are simply writing 'fiction' - and this old adage applies -

"The difference between fact and fiction is that fiction must be believable."--Mark Twain

To pick up some lofty predictions - Rutgers will need to provide the 'predictors' with glowing concrete 'believable' evidence that victories over the 'powerhouses' can occur.

To pick up the actual victories - Rutgers just has to outscore the opponent.

Or just not get our doors blown off by them ...

Look, we didn't just lose in four of our five losses last year. We got humiliated. Taken to the woodshed. Schooled. Insert your own cliche here.

Beating who we should beat is essential, but not getting blasted by teams we shouldn't beat would help. A lot.

Wow... didn't realize they don't leave the state of PA until game 7.
Their schedule is a joke or put another way, brilliantly orchestrated. Weak games to start; almost all home games. RU's schedule is much tougher. You play the best of the other conference; they play the worst.

fyi - the ONLY games they get to choose are their 4 OOC games. They play every division team every year and the B1G picks their "cross-over" games. The B1G also sets the dates for all these games and, over the decades, the B1G has ALWAYS played all of their OOC games in September, because the conference season began 1st Saturday of October, hence, the scheduling as such. They just recently changed things up and started scheduling a single conference game pre-October.
