I just walked through the Yard and past the new academic buildings on the old seminary property. It's spectacular!!! Vorhees mall will now extend up the hill to the dorm area. Just a very nice space by the Gardner Sage Library and Honors College that will have some green space too. The Yard is awesome. Don't love the Starbucks in the middle, but overall will be an awesome area. Once that Knight Statue debuts, it will truly be the front door of RU and a timeless iconic space

Well done @ Cofifa-now lets get going on Records Hall and the eyesore of a physical plant bldg there Need to create the classic college green quad over there, down to the Raritan overlook!!

This is very good news.

Especially from somebody who is there everyday.

Cofifa, any mention of/schedule for the records hall removal and the quad that was outlined in the physical master plan? Is this a realistic medium term goal or just 'if we had the cash' fantasy?

I expect to see construction starting on the new 15,000 seat hockey/basketball arena next to the Stadium or RAC to begin any day now !!!

Walked by The Yard yesterday and it looks fantastic I think. Only complaint is the actual yard is a little smaller than what I was expecting. Wonder when all the stores/restaurants there will be fully open?

That's because it's really more of a PLACE than a yard. ;)

Went to they Yard the other night - looks great, but was surprised at how many were not open and looked like they would not be open for weeks. TV was awesome - will that be on 24/7?

Hopefully Jersy Mikes and surf taco next week
TV off around 11 unless something ends latter i.e. Game, movie , debate , academy awards
Honey grow in abou ten days
Pizza who knows they dropped the ball
Starbucks 2 weeks

Are those speakers on the bottom of the screen going to be covered at all? It looks like that giant screen is half finished with the metal framing all exposed. I would think some type of speaker masking. Doesn't the huge screen in the stadium have its speakers hidden and not exposed.

My only complaint. otherwise looks great.

Good catch
The speakers will be covered and the entire board gets a frame ... In a couple of weeks

Too busy? Enough room for all of that? You'd know better than me being in the neighborhood everyday.

And thank your staff, got both RU flags with the B1G on them.

Guy on the phone (can't remember the name) was great. Super friendly and very helpful.
