BUT ... the defense really stiffened up after it looked like they had lost it in the 3rd quarter. And that was without Austin.
BUT .... Laviano completed 9 of his last 10 passes. And that was without Carroo.
BUT ... The OL finally started opening some holes - and RU's coaches went with the hot hand in Martin, who was tremendous.
BUT ... Federico nailed the winning FG, dead center, after kicking so poorly the entire game.
Big win, needless to say.
Unfortunately, Carroo hurt, Austin hurt.
