TCU quarterback Zach Allen announced on Wednesday afternoon that he will be transferring to Rutgers. Allen has two years of eligibility remaining and as a graduate transfer he will be eligible to play immediately.

If he doesn't cut it at QB we could use the help at Wr. More competition never hurts he's a good grad transfer get. Well done Ash and co.

How can a graduate still have 2 years eligibility and not have to sit?
So he graduated in 3 yrs?

I have to think that he really has a solid shot at getting the starting job. Otherwise, why not find another school who has nobody right now? Ash had to say something that got his attention and I'm not talking about the usual "if you win the competition" stuff. I think he is now the guy to beat.

Hopefully he is the answer at QB but let us not forget how the lack of playing last year time seems to have negatively effected Rettig. Allen had a redshirt year and two years of inactivity under center so that means it has been three years since he has played on a regular basis. This may be the answer but it is far from a given.

We are the school that had nobody. That's why he's coming here

WELCOME, Zach, to "THE BANKS"!!

Have a feeling this young man is going to be a really positive addition to the team, and he appears to be someone who's totally focused on getting down to work.

So, once again, Zach...WELCOME! [thumb2]:boom::100points::football:
