I'm thinking the troll here is the guy who told Plum Street in the North Carolina thread that his post should be an OT, but is alright with this off-topic post.

No, but it doesn't change the fact that practically every kid in that student section looked like they were grown at a frumpy granola factory.

You're right that they aren't in the same ballpark in terms of class. What Imus said was truly despicable and directed at a small group of women, and that you presumably were trying to be humorous (I don't think Imus was, he was trying to be shocking).

I'm stunned that:
- a few people are actually upset/outraged with this thread, and
- these same people didn't actually notice an entire frumpy granola student section. I mean if it were Princeton, and I said "holy preppies Batman," or The Essex County Community College Pirates and I said "holy guidos Batman," would they be just as upset?

Why start a thread like this? Because I was watching the game, they kept showing the student section, and it popped into my head. Is that okay? Nobody forced you to read it, respond to it, or otherwise. This is a "message board." We post "messages" here. These messages consist of random thoughts at times. Most of the time, actually, so I'm really not sure what the issue is OTHER THAN your usual need to be a pain in my ass?

Because everyone is ultra sensitive these days. I had a customer today tell me I look like I worked in shore Night Clubs(I did), later jokingly called me a guido and then spent 5 minutes apologizing to me. I was like why are you apologizing, it was funny?
Exactly. I mean it's not like I'm making stuff up, let alone exaggerating, the Pacific Northwest is the "frumpy granola" capital of the freakin' world!
All this debate and nobody has offered any photographic evidence one way or the other... other than Stockton's daughter.
The funny part of this student body exchange is: no one commented on the North Carolina student body section was composed of mainly ASU students who were gifted the tickets because of a low NC student turnout ( around 1800 miles from NC to AZ could be a factor).
