Of that list only West Virginia and Miami are truly "revenge" teams. Temple ?? Stop.

3 vs. TU (2021, 2022 and 2023)6 for 6 (2 vs. Temple) against those five opponents in the past three seasons if I'm not mistaken.
Got it...7 for 7 then.3 vs. TU (2021, 2022 and 2023)

Our last games against Temple, Syracuse, Boston College, Virginia Tech, and Miami, have all been wins. We need to schedule WVU ASAP. Who else was in the Big East? USF, Cincy, Pitt, UConn, Louisville? I feel like we don't have anything to prove against them, although Cincy had our number to some degree. Those losses in 1992 and 2006 were pretty brutal.
The 2007 WVU team was Rich Rod’s best and were possibly going to play for the national championship had they not choked vs Pitt in the backyard brawl. They also handled Oklahoma fairly easily in their bowl game. If you recall, Rodriguez left after that season having felt he had taken the program as far as it could go.Its funny how some teams match-up.
Poor Jim Leavitt at USF would come to RU games with great teams who were often in top ten (and sometimes undefeated) but Greg just knew how to sink their boat. Then Greg couldn't catch any breaks vs WV.
2007 was greatest example. RU beats a 6-0 USF (#2) 30-27 and the next week loses 31-3 to a WV team that earlier had lost to USF (21-13).
