If we lose to Purdue and other results do not go our way, I think we could drop to the 11 seed, which for a 10-10 team would really suck.

Per Jerry Recco in the postgame, we clinched a first round bye with a win last night.
Hope he's right. But, assume the following:

We lose to Purdue.
OSU loses its last two.
Michigan splits its last two.
Indiana wins its last two.

We now have a five way tie at 10-10 for seeds 7 through 11. The tiebreaker is head-to-head among the tied teams. Our record within that five team grouping would be 2-4. Maybe one of the other teams would be worse, haven't looked that up.

Anyway, a win Sunday makes it all moot.

If the five teams tied, Indiana is 1-5 against that grouping.

Yes, you're right. It's all good.

And if you remove OSU from the mix, and are left with a four way tie for seeds 8 through 11, we're still ahead of Indiana in the tiebreaker.

Interesting how we beat (split, home and away) 3 of the top 4 teams in the conference, and only played MSU once, on the road. Really wish we could have played them at home.

Pike just a few years ago has brought two 3 win B10 teams into the conference tournament and came away with 3 B10 tourney wins. This team is much better equipped. No way this team doesn't show up ready to play. The road splits are pretty fluky when you look at the fact that they haven't got caught with their pants down in most of these games and got blown out of the water.

Finally a little separation has appeared at the top of the standings with one game to go for most teams. But 13 of the 14 seeds are still up for grabs.

13-6: Maryland, Michigan State, Wisconsin. Badgers hold the tiebreaker if it finishes like this.

12-6: Illinois - if they win at OSU tomorrow, they clinch the final double bye. Tough assignment to do that. Also, BTN just said that Wisconsin does not get the tiebreaker their way if it is a four way tie. Not sure who wins that one.

11-8: Penn State, Iowa

10-8: Ohio State

10-9: Rutgers

9-9: Michigan

9-10: Purdue, Indiana

7-12: Minnesota (locked into 12 seed)

2-16: Nebraska

2-17: Northwestern. Cats hold the tiebreaker over Nebraska if they finish tied.

It is not impossible to have a five way tie for 7th-11th place. Indiana does not win tiebreakers with the teams in the area: 0-1 vs. Rutgers and Michigan; 0-2 vs. Purdue; 1-1 vs. Ohio State. I think Indiana can only avoid the 11 seed by winning vs. Wisconsin while either we beat Purdue or while Michigan loses to Nebraska and Maryland.

Add to that the fact that we also beat the No. 5 team (split with PSU) and played the No. 6 team Iowa only on the road. Such a tough schedule!

Would be insane if Wisconsin won the B10. They looked AWFUL before January.

Watching Illinois at Ohio State. Dosunmu is a fun guy to watch. Very talented and not obnoxious. Hoping to see the Illini pull the road upset to open a path for us passing OSU.
