OT: NCAA College Football 2022 Bowl Games Thread

30-0 I’d say it’s safe to say a 10 win season is looking likely for Oregon St. Nice job Jonathan Smith.

Of course the board jinx can come into play and the largest comeback in NFL history just happened. Vikings down 33-0 to the Colts come back and win. Being down 36-7 near the end of the 3rd makes it even more impressive.

It appears that all that nasty, athletic SEC defense is either.in the portal or has opted out.

Is it any wonder why the Gators won’t leave the SEC footprint to play? I think there was a season a few years back when they never left the State of Florida.

I think the number of players they have out because of the portal and opt out is part of it but it is what it is.

On another note:

Edit: FG keeps the streak alive lol

Was surprised to read ground and pound in several articles.
That’s what they did against Oregon because they didn’t have a qb that could throw.

He tries to be balanced though. I think their passing yards and rushing yards are about even but they have a lot more rushing attempts. I don’t think he was like that as Washington OC. I think he just is a whatever works or is working coach or will highlight the strengths of his players.

The expanded playoffs can’t come soon enough. These bowl games are just not that interesting anymore.

Great day of bowls today:

Good for former RU QB Cole Snyder:

Good for former RU WR Eddie Lewis:

East Carolina romped Coastal Carolina 53-29.

Wisconsin Oklahoma State on now.
