That's awesome. I remember following him way back when he played in the LLWS. Hope he has a long and productive career.

He is likely a victim of bad luck to this point. His BABIP (Batting Average on Balls In Play, for those who aren't familiar with the expression) sits at .186. Last season it clocked in at .309, and the year before it was .269. His walk rate is up and his strikeout rate is down. The BABIP should come around and his average will rise.

And with a nickname like the Toddfather, how could you not root for him? :)
