Hey everyone! Recently @ABRU00 posted an episode of his podcast (Scarlet Faithful) where he gave his backstory of how he became a Rutgers fan. A few of you asked for @Richie O and my backstories as well. Well for a future episode, we plan to do just that (don't worry, I reached out to Aaron and he graciously gave his blessing to steal his idea). Additionally, we'd like to give YOU the opportunity to tell your stories as well!

I love the direction of the Rutgers program. I have no reason to root for Rutgers - born and raised in Michigan, UM grad - but Rutgers has low key been becoming my second favorite Big 10 team. One reason: Toughness. Schiano is tough as nails, and is building a tough program. We honestly had more trouble with RU than almost any other Big 10 team over the past few years, it’s always a long friggin day. I can’t wait to see some of the new PAC teams walk into the Big 10 thinking …. Road game in Piscataway in November? Shouldn’t be a problem. Guess what . . . It ain’t gonna be sunny and warm. I don’t think they are built for that.

Even as a newer member, Rutgers is a hell of a lot more Big 10 than UCLA or Oregon will ever be. It’s a different mentality. I look forward to seeing RU continue to ascend. Unless you are playing Michigan that is of course.

Some of the prices these towns charge are insane. A few over $100, but most seem pretty reasonable in the $20-$30 range. I recall Belmar back in the 80's was around $30 they have gone up to $80. Looking back $30 in the 80's was pretty high.
Island Beach State Park continues to be the best bargain and IMO nicest beach in NJ

@Richie O crystal ball says Ben Black will have the best freshman year of all the 2024 recruits. Have now seen hype for this kid multiple places. This seems like the type of kid and talent that Greg would want to try and keep quiet about until the start of the season. Is this Greg being more lenient this summer about what you guys can talk about or is Black just standing out that much in practice where it’s too hard to keep a secret?

These guys are probably the most knowledgeable national B1G podcasters on Rutgers outside of guys like richie/mike/aaron breitman.

I listen to some national B1G pods and none really show Rutgers any attention but these guys not only cover RU but legitimately know RU despite being Iowa guys.
