Any pilots in this forum? After a very long absence I am finally getting back to flying. Got my private in 1990 Flew some hours after I graduated college, marraige, kids, divorce took its toll on my bank account and there was nothing left to pursue my love of aviation. Finally after a long, long, long time away, last logged hours as PIC was in 1996, am getting my BFR done and immediately starting my instrument training. Hope to be able to use my privileges to fly to RU away games. Look forwards to hitting the midwest stadiums, and anywhere RU football is playing within 200- 600 NM of KMMU. Someday looking to purchase an aircraft and if things go really well getting a turbine powered one.
Anyone else on here actively fly? Would love to hear your stories and do some hanger flying.

The team has announced their 5 match Fall portion of the schedule. Two are return trips.

2023-2024 was considered the best in program history. The team started off slow before winning 2 Spring events including the season finale, The Golfweek National Invitational, and tied for their best finish in the B1G Championship.

The season kicks off Sept 8 with the Badger Invitational at Wisconsin. Last season RU finished 11th out of 15. Defending champ USF is among those also entered. The team travels to the West Coast Sept 30 for The Mollie Invitational in which they finished 9th out of 11. New B1G member Oregon and Cal were co-champs.

RU just put out an offer to a guard from Overtime Elite in Georgia. TJ rendered the offer a little while ago. Michigan had done the same a couple of hours ago. Adam Oumidich is a 6’6” wing who is a top 50 player.

I cover HS sports for NJ.com and this summer I am tasked in putting together the Mt. Rushmore of Franklin HS athletics.

If you are unfamiliar, we compile a list of the top athletes (and coaches) in the school's history, and then residents/fans can vote on who they think should be the best four. The 30 second penalty after 3 violations is gone. Instead, the FOGO committing the violation can't take the next faceoff. I personally feel that it's an improvement. It also means teams better have 2, if not 3, competent FOGOs.

As indicated last month, the trip is a GO.
