11 am Sunday - RU Baseball vs Boston College

BC batting in 9th, now 6-4, and BC has the bases loaded w no outs. Ugh

edit- hit, now tied at 6. Looking like a meltdown here.

Complete choke. Unacceptable to give up 7 runs in the 9th. We can't fire Litterio fast enough

lol yeah because teams NEVER blow big leads late in games as such...like, you know, not even MLB teams....:eyes:

..shitty loss, yes, but that's literally the first game thus far you can say "what the ****" IMHO.

Interesting that BC’s roster includes players from Florida, California, Maryland, Virginia, NJ, NY, Canada, Georgia, Pennsylvania as well as New England area. BC baseball does some real recruiting unlike our favorite team. And the BC coach has real credentials, including coaching in a different part of the country (Va Tech) and his 2016 BC team having 5 players drafted by MLB, and first round draft picks in 2015 and 2016.

Correct. And I don't think Litterio has a draft pick his entire career here. Which is unbelievable considering how many kids get drafted from NJ every year from JUCOs and D3 schools. He's that bad

Gambino has done a good job at BC. One win away from CWS a couple of years ago. Talent level should improve and stay competitive in ACC, which will mean good shot at regular appearances NCAA tournament. New stadium this spring and much better training facilities.

Oh well ... tomorrow is another day ... at least RU beat the Bonnie’s!!!!
