Someone on one of the Rutgers Facebook pages I follow noted that the Illinois beatdown on Tuesday night marked RU's 100th regular season conference game in men’s basketball/football since joining the B1G.

Rutgers' record:15 wins, 85 losses.

8-57 in basketball
7-28 in football

Let's have a little fun and predict what RU's record will be in its next 100 men's hoops/football B1G games.

I will say 35-65.

I had fun and added women's soccer to the above. Rutger's record is now: 72 wins, 102 losses.

35-40 league wins seems high unless there will be a dramatic improvement in recruiting.Right now 25-30 wins seem more realistic and the basketball program has the better chance to show 6 or more league wins per season when the team recruits some shooters.

Meanwhile Maryland had the most championships in all the B10 last year

Makes me sad.....

But MD also has tradition in doing that. A big advantage.

MD along with UNC had the most ACC championships over decades.

Hoping for this
2-7 (5-7)..2018
3-6. (7-6)..2019
4-5 (8-5)...2020
9-18

3-6......2017-2018 remainder (15-18)
7-13....2018-2019 (finish 17-16)
9-11.....2019-2020 (finish 20-13...with two wins in NIT to 22-14)
12-9.....2020-2021 (finish 23-11...win one in NCAA...24-12)
31-39

40-57

Start 2-1 in football in 2021...(on way to 5-4/9-4 season )

42-58 in next 100
