I'll be watching to get a better feel for Miami

Going to dvr the game.

Watching the Michigan State - Baylor game. This Michigan State team is not good. They're undersized and not physical down low. Getting killed by Motley and Big Jo. They miss Costello and Schilling, even though Ward has potential. It's going to be interesting to see if Izzo can figure this out.

Miami looks like a decent team, but I honestly feel we will present some matchup problems for them.

If we bring the kind of energy we're capable of, along with our combination of size, quickness and depth, we will be in that game with a legitimate shot at pulling off the upset.

After watching a good number of our B1G foes there is no way we are going to finish last.
We may even be middle of the pack on March 4th at 2:15pm. (our last game).

Miami game was close up until last five minutes when they pulled away. Their guards Newton and Brown took over late. Brown is the freshman who fills up a stat sheet.

That's why all the pre-season predictions of last place and a few conference wins are silly. No one knew what the other teams were capable of doing. I also watched several teams and most looked beatable. Purdue looked like the best

Even Purdue has big questions with their guards. Quick guards give Purdue trouble on defense and disrupts the flow of Purdue's offense with on the ball pressure.

Miami has a pretty good mix of experience and highly touted freshman. Newton, reed and Murphy have been playing solid ball for a while. Huell and brown were big time recruits. I'm guessing Miami will pull away in the second half.

and RU is beatable as well. Consistency once we get in league play is the key, thats where these other schools with more talent who do not look so hot right now have the advantage...its easy for people to sit here and say the rest of the league is all beatable but doing it is another thing. our best win is a terrible De Paul team..proceed with caution
