1) I LOVED the halftime thing with all the RU Student athletes having a dance and a bunch of fun out there. Two guys from the football team (Joseph and OP). THAT's what college is supposed to be about. I don't know who's idea it was but my wife (dragged her butt to the game) agreed and actually enjoyed herself today. (why not, right?) So good to see and feel the positive vibes today. So glad I made the trek.
2) I don't know what the medical issue was cross court from the Rutgers team. Something with a young fan. He was alright but what was fantastic was Hobbs walks up into the stands to check on the kid and hands him a plastic bag full of Rutgers stuff. (like a prize from one of those shoot-around contests). This guy Hobbs is a breath of fresh air.
3) bonus moment. Freakin mascot not only banks in his first half court shot but takes the chance and swishes the 2nd one minutes later. No way we were losing this one after half time! [banana]
