2016 Wing Eugene Omoruyi Visits Tomorrow

RU23 - I know the Alvarado situation personally. You are of course free to believe what you have read elsewhere rather than me. All I can tell you is that none of the schools mentioned have any legitimate interest in Alvarado. Merely reaching out and staying in touch is what all good recruiters do. It is simply done with many kids in the unlikely event things go wrong with more legitimate options.

As I mentioned earlier, that is not a negative reflection on Alvarado. Moreover, it is a positive factor for RU as we are the only local option seriously pursuing him.

I'm not anywhere close to being in touch with recruiting, but what exactly does legitimate interest mean? The word legitimate means conforming to the law, to standards or to rules.

In other words he doesn't have a commitable offer at the moment from the other local schools. They have higher rated recruits on their recruiting boards or don't have a need for his position at the moment. The staffs will keep in touch with him and if something occurs where they lose verbal commits or someone transfers, etc..., they may come back to him and ask him to commit.

Seems clear enough to me.....offers but just as plan B and C ....were legitimate...whats confusing? I know you closer to the hoops program than me but its clear what he's saying !?!

I keep up to date with the happenings, and love the sport, but if you read everything Dodger said, it was a little confusing. I was not the only one.

I am not totally into recruiting. If I had to say what the situation is, it is that those schools offered but have since offered other pgs, meaning their offer is not as solid anymore. They have moved onto to other people.
