Great get as a walk on. Big man with range. Some strength training, development and see what he can do in year 2 or 3. This is how you develop a program. Attention to detail every where.
Seems like a slimmed down version of Gettys. If he has good hands, court sense and can pass the ball, with his size and reported shooting touch, he'll get some PT.
Shell (earlier in this thread) not only has seen him play, but has coached against him. Seems like kid will be a project, but could develop into a contributor. That is a lazy comparison and completely ignorant to facts. Nobody actually knows how this kid will play - and he certainly cannot be called a "slimmed down version of Gettys." C'mon now.
Jon, 7% is hard to believe. That means one out of every 14 people in the world grow to 6'10". Are you sure that is correct?? I cannot imagine that.

I think 1212 is arguing that 7% estimate is way too many, not too few.Do you think it is higher or lower?Data shows that by country, Germany has the tallest average height. It is 180.4 cm, or above 5 10.
The people above 6 8 are definitely the outliers, and are seemingly in the high minority.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, the average male height in US is roughly 5' 9" and the standard deviation is roughly 3 inches. Assuming a relatively normal distribution, that means for Americans, only 2% would be taller than 6' 3". And less than half a percent would be taller than 6'6".
