The three year stretch from Covid 20-11 year, making the round of 32 the next, finishing top 4 in conference at 18-12, im sorry, you can’t GLOSS over that as if it didn’t happen when the program last got to 18 wins in Waters first year TWENTY YEARS prior haha. Come on. One hs kid is not gonna make or break that 3 year run and if not for a blown lead at Minnesota, would have had another 20 win season. Why do kids even bother to commit? It no longer makes any sense until they sign. This will work both ways now and it won’t stop coaches from recruiting over them before they even sign.

This^^^. We haven't even received a confirmation of a signed LOI for a player in the LAST closed signing period, I do not believe. November will seem decades away before Dylan and Ace can/will sign an LOI for next year's class. We'll all be on serious meds by then lol. GO RU!

Yup. Blacknall was probably the best one. The running back who flipped to BC and came back for his grad year was ok at best.

The freefall of that class sucked though and kind of indicated Flood wasn’t going to make it.
Don’t feel the same about Pike. Dellquan was always a soft commit - still sucks. I really liked his athleticism and speed.
He might have jumped the gun on his commitment. Might be shopping for a deal, might also be nervous about where he fits given the position. Don’t think we move on, but he’s probably not gonna end up here.

To tell the truth, those looking at Ace decommitting now have a loser mentality based on years of futility prior to Pike.
