Shawver needs to be much more offensive in the 3rd or else hes going to lose on a stall call..

Oliveri wrestling right now on mat 7 vs. Dylan Chappell (Bucknell). Tied 0-0 after 1.

Clark will be right after him on mat 7

Clark loses to Wasilewski 4-3. Couldn't get any offense going and then Wasilewski stalled the entire last period.

Harer loses again
Kid did not wrestle well at all.Certainly not the hype athlete everyone boasted on. Maybe he needed that redshirt year.He could be fried too. Going right from high school to the Big 10 grind is not for everyone. On a side note, I'm glad Shawver beat that annoying little shit,Davino. Had enough of listening to all those low rent Ohio dirtballs gloating on him and saying he will beat Shawver.Shut those dirt merchants right up.

Harer worries me.. starting to feel he won’t even qualify for nationals this year.. even White, O’Neil, Clark, and Cetta were able to qualify at their first start, I believe….

Davino is a stud, future multi x AA type.. even tho Shawver was the returning AA coming into the match it felt like he was the underdog.. underestimated Shawver , that was a big win.

Glad to see Shawver win a tough, close one. Not too happy to see Soldano lose so badly. I suspect he got caught with his funk. STill too early to worry about Harer.

Did you watch the match? Or you’re just a straight douche? He was winning 4-0 against number 19 kid in country with 22 seconds left and yea got headlocked. He sucks should quit. What a ****ing tool bag
Hopefully you just quoted the wrong post because all MSRU wrote was that Harer lost. He’s generally one of the more level headed posters here and doesn’t take shots at guys.

What a ****ing tool bag. The kid wrestles out of the gate for Rutgers and u bash him like you achieved anything. When he does win we want none of your support straight douche. I speak like a man yes this is my buddy’s account who let me sign in and respond. So I will leave my number like a man.

Both of your sons are going to have fine careers at Rutgers. Ignore the peanut gallery. Delighted to have them wrestling for us. Thank you.

Some folks are way too critical on here, especially when it comes to judging true freshmen. There's going to be some lumps and growing pains. I really like like what I've seen from 125, 149, 157 and 165 thus far; it's still very early in their careers. They'll get stronger as the year goes on, though 125 and 49 will probably redshirt.

Thanks. Not going to engage with a parent since it’s a no win situation but all I said is that he lost so not sure what set him off. If it makes him happy I will refrain from commenting on anything related to his son, including any results good or bad.

If you are his father (who even knows who is who anymore) talking like that certainly doesn't give you any credibility( although I'm guilty of it too). As a parent, I can see your frustration. But this is wrestling and we are NJ people( well Im former NJ).You aren't gonna get any mercy on these boards, unfortunately. I personally think he needs a year of redshirting. He got tossed into the Big 10 grind which overwhelming and brutal. I'll be honest, I think he is wrestling very tentative and not as physical as we hoped. We think the kid has a high ceiling, and just may need a year of redshirting.

Good:
Great wins by Peterson, Shawver, Joey O, and SCW
Damn;
Connor had that match. But guess that is wrestling. Wish he pulled it out
Turley is Turley get good with bad
Barbosa just couldnt score on that kid
Bad:
-Soldano doing Soldano things but for the negative here
-Poz is just not strong or big enough for 197. Its obvious whenever he faces a bigger framed 197 coming down vs going up
-Very disappointing loss by Yara but Bullock just waited for him to make a mistake. He literally did nothing entire match and have had at least another 1-2 stall calls

I'm not going to get in the middle of this but if I had to guess I would say it was your use of the word "again" that probably set him off

I would also say that these message boards are definitely not a healthy place for anyone related to a college athlete to be. Way too much vitriol and commentary from shit-stirrers.( Not saying you are one of them more making a general comment)

Agree on bullock. He should have been called for numerous stalls.

This first line is just classic coming from you...

It’s to all the douche bags in hear. Bunch of little girls running their mouths. Shit talk kids and coaches. Coach Goodale is bashed all the time and he’s one of the best out there. Try supporting the guys and coaches. The worst decision I ever made was letting my buddy talk me into looking at this sight. Next time u bash maybe think man this kid could have redshirted and took an important year to gain but choose to go after it for his team and Rutgers fans.
I've been on these boards for 30 years and have seen this movie many many times before across so many sports. You should definitely not participate on this site. You are going to read some things that are going to wind you up to no end... I've seen numerous parents go bananas from participating

By the way thrilled that both of your boys are representing rutgers. Will be rooting hard for both of them.

Dude, calm down.Your son will be fine. You are making this like someone insulted him with sort serious slur or insult.Someone said he" lost again"....he unfortunately did. He has to go back to the drawing board and reevaluate his mistakes. He still cam make the NCAA tournament this year. You said perfectly, maybe you should stay off these boards.

I really hope Soldano goes 174 and Poz 184 next year…
