Lobos are now 8-6 and completely dominated the game. Nevada lead 2-0 and that was their only lead!

But how come since Frank Burns in the late 70's and '80's and occasionally Greg Schiano (yes that guy) , no RU Men's team can score this type of upset over a top 10 team...Never, Never, Never.....it is mind numbing......frickin' mind numbing.

Look at all the other schools that do it each year.....including my adopted Uni UNM, and how come RU Men's sports continue to stink it up annually?

#1 - wrong board

#2 - Rutgers (9-7) beat #4 Wisconsin (15-1) 67-62 on 1/11/2015. Wisconsin went on to finish (36-4) and lose to Duke in the National Championship game.

Confusing thread is confusing.

The title is referencing a BASKETBALL game.

For the record our basketball team has upset a few top 10 teams like Villanova here and there.

Yes, going back a touch further, Rutgers (12-11) beat #9 Villanova (19-4) 77-76 on 2/9/2011. Nova then proceeded to lose 7 of their next 9 games and bomb out in the first round of both the BE and NCAA tourneys.
