He knows what he's talking about but I'm not buying this prediction.November at night, just brilliant.
For the sake of tailgating...
Doesn't much depend on whether or not the wrestling is still scheduled for the stadium. A simple solution would be to reschedule for another date or have it in tbe RAC on the same day but not in conflict with the game. Or did I miss that part of the announcement.
Love it. Helps the team that wants to run more.November at night is not always bad. Anyone remember where he/she was and what he/she saw on November 9, 2006?
@RU848789 , I beg you to start a way too early weather thread for the Maryland game to calm the masses.
7:30pm would be great...we would actually have a shot at winning a night game for the first time in 3 years.
Do we find out today? RU sources have only said the starting time would be announced at a "later date."
what if its like 50 degrees and partly cloudy..what do we wear?Either 3:30 or 7:30 would be great. Not understanding the big fuss about the temperature. If it's cold, dress warmly. If it's wet, wear rain gear.
The ladies should wear yoga pants and thin white t-shirts. The men, other than me, should stay home.what if its like 50 degrees and partly cloudy..what do we wear?
You're saying the stadium only rocks at night?? Ive seen plenty of day games rock. Please please please.
These recruits need to see the stadium rocking at night in a game we can actually win instead of it being half empty after halftime.
The more night games against beatable teams the better.

Wasn't Ohio State at night this year?Interesting. I just re read my post and I can’t find the line where I said it only rocks at night. Please highlight that for me because I want to apologize to you if I’m missing that in my own post.
For anyone not purposely being dense, I’m sure they got my point was, night games, overall, have a better atmosphere through out the game.
Right or wrong, the students are usually out in more force and more drunk. And I realize it’s November but a night game takes away any chance of it being Hot taking peoples energy away.
Of course the stadium can and does rock anytime of day during a good parts of the game. But a good night game can keep that vibe going almost the entire game

Ok how about Arkansas. Day game. Maybe the loudest its been since 2006.Which is why I said beatable teams in my post. Implying a game that should be competitive through out.
I wish, until we can compete with them, any game against Ohio St is at noon and as few recruits as possible show up

What makes it exciting has very little to do with time of kickoff.
How is it wrong. WVU in the snow. Michigan St under Schiano. Arkansas. They were all awesome games. Playing at night adds nothing except getting home late.Overall that’s just wrong. There will be individual moments but for recruits and younger people night games create a better and more exciting atmosphere.
Take the exact same competitive game and play it in the afternoon or night and there will be more energy at night.
Now a lot of fans might like the 3:30 Stary better. And I get that
Reminds me of some weather forecasts [winking]Hey, he was within 4 hours!
