AAC just used a commercial for their championship game

His background in television is watching it.
i think he knows what he's doing and the AAC is gonna be better than anyone could've imagined....they're gonna get a huge bump for product....Boise effed up staying in the MWC I'd think for the short term...overall good product.

Playing that commercial is malpractice. Someone is asleep at the wheel.

Isn't it more likely that either ESPN or the production company screwed it up?

I'm guessing they were allotted a slot as part of participating in the game, and sent this as their entry.

Espn wouldn't arbitrarily play that commercial without their knowledge.

I'm sure that ESPN (and/or whatever production company was working the game) has been provided with several AAC spots that they've run throughout the year. They probably didn't create a new one for the bowl game, but intended to use one of their canned spots from earlier in the year. Someone in the production truck or an office in Connecticut probably clicked on the wrong link on a computer screen. According to your description it also sounds like a specific programming promo as opposed to one of those "our conference is great" spots, in which case it seems even more likely that it was a network mistake. You see these types of mistakes occasionally in non-sports programming as well.

It looked more like a spot produced for the conference than for the game itself. Can't say for certain, but someone clearly dropped the ball.

So based upon the commercial they are selling tickets for a game already played. I wonder how much I can get for a couple of unused RU - Maryland tix.
