Looks like he made a good transfer decision—Tulane at #16 and going toe to toe with USC
Sorry, no respect for a kid who was plucked out obscurity from soccer team by Greg, groomed, then leaves. But I guess that’s the way it is these days.
Is that what happened?Sorry, no respect for a kid who was plucked out obscurity from soccer team by Greg, groomed, then leaves. But I guess that’s the way it is these days.
I had to take that idiot off ignore to read his latest bit of stupidity. Of course that's not what happened. He got recruited over and left for what turned out to be a better situation. Good for him. Kicked the game winning PAT.Is that what happened?

My kids, who went to school with him and his sister were following the family Snapchats from the stadium during the game. Lots of fun, made Cranford proud.
winning TD caught by RedBank Catholic Freshman, who RU offered.

Prior to Tulane: Received a three-star rating from 247Sports.com… Rated as one of the nation’s Top 100 edge rushers… Ranked 36th in the state of New Jersey regardless of position… Recorded 87 total stops, 22 tackles for loss, five sacks and two fumble recoveries during his senior season… Contributed 26 receptions for 432 yards and six touchdowns on offense in 2021… Two time First Team All-State Tight End…Named the MVP of the Shore Conference… Played three years of basketball in high school tallying 534 points, 353 rebounds, 185 assists, 79 blocks and 51 steals... His brother, Kevin, plays TE at Notre Dame.
The fails continue under Schiano.Another special teams fail by RU.
He was a soccer player for Rutgers. Schiano brought him in to kick. Fact. That’s what I thought.
Nor do I care. He’s laughing at you though if he read your post. I’m sure he cares about your respect
I was asking about the leaving part.He was a soccer player for Rutgers. Schiano brought him in to kick. Fact.
Be careful with Snyder. You will get pounced on and told that he has found the level he can compete at. I think that is horse crap, but whatever. We will never know. It's funny though, you don't see Cole Snyder or Ambrosio tweeting snarky crap like our former WR coach taking shots at RU on Twitter. Happy for the guys who have found success elsewhere, but really, Jude over Ambrosio is a huge head scratcher so far.The fails continue under Schiano.
O’Neal was the best OL for UCLA this season, QB Snyder at Buffalo, etc
I would consider O’Neal the real loss. The fails continue under Schiano.
O’Neal was the best OL for UCLA this season, QB Snyder at Buffalo, etc
How do you think he became a football player? Greg. He left because ? “Recruited over?” Really? I guess he didn’t like competition.I was asking about the leaving part.
I know he was on the soccer team. We all do.
This exactlyBe careful with Snyder. You will get pounced on and told that he has found the level he can compete at. I think that is horse crap, but whatever. We will never know. It started with Chad SchwenkThe fails continue under Schiano.
O’Neal was the best OL for UCLA this season, QB Snyder at Buffalo, etc
This exactly
And chasing out O’Neal is unfathomable .
How can Schiano be blamed for Oneal leaving? Wouldn't his experience under Ash have had more t do with it?The fails continue under Schiano.

Whelp, there goes that thought. My son told me Ambrosio tweeted "the grass is greener on the other side" or something similar, and tagged the aforementioned former WR coach. Sorry CranfordKnight, but if he did indeed tweet that, he just automatically made the d-bag list.Be careful with Snyder. Does this count as the board jinx? Asking for a poster friend. Can I get a lifeline from someone here, I'm dying of laughter. I'm amusing myself, like the clown I feel like right now.Whelp, there goes that thought. And New Orleans. He def lucked out to get to a better team
Great City to be young in.And New Orleans.
The idea that Rutgers needs to land every NJ athlete has killed us for years. Get the best possible players. If he’s a NJ native, that’s great. Provincial recruiting is Mr. Magoo recruiting.winning TD caught by RedBank Catholic Freshman, who RU offered.

Most coaches will say you want your best players to be your hardest working players. Agree the portal allows guys like O’Neal to move on based on talent alone. Agree Davis may have left and it wasn’t just his work ethic. He was so talented he didn’t have to work hard. Maybe he did in the NFL I don’t know. Schiano had a 5 star recruit early in his RU career who never saw the field. Schiano said he was the nicest kid but didn’t want to work. The thing with Schiano is, if a player doesn't follow the work ethic/rules to a t, he gives them the life lesson treatment. Remember Anthony Davis? No. 1 offensive tackle prospect in the nation, and when he came to camp over weight Schiano had him work out with the freshman. If there was a transfer portal then, I think he would have left. I think he stayed bitter about that for a long time. Schiano did the same thing to Tom Savage. He played Dodd. And Savage did transfer. Schiano will play a lesser skilled player because they work hard and are at meetings on time, etc. and sacrifice winning. I figure the WR out of Syracuse left because of his 'Life Lesson'. Other coaches do it too, Graber had another player take kick returns over super star Willis because of the same reason.
The same genius coach who also chased away his best offensive linemen to UCLA lolHow do you think he became a football player? Greg. He left because ? “Recruited over?” Really? I guess he didn’t like competition.
OK. Will take my donations elsewhere too. This board is getting ridiculous. All the bitching an whining. Go be fans elsewhere, it's exhausting.
Quotes like this reveal how some fans don’t understand the difference between college and pro.. the kid made a decision to go to another school, and you ‘lose all respect’. Get a grip man, he’s a damn kickerSorry, no respect for a kid who was plucked out obscurity from soccer team by Greg, groomed, then leaves. But I guess that’s the way it is these days.
O’Neal did play 2 years under Schiano. How can Schiano be blamed for Oneal leaving? Wouldn't his experience under Ash have had more t do with it?
So he did GS a favor. Man doesn’t matter if someone brings you in, if the ship is burning you gonna jump off. No one complains when a kid is given the “talk”, so no one should complain when a kid transfers. He was a soccer player for Rutgers. Schiano brought him in to kick. Fact.
Didn't Gregie " transfer " once?Sorry, no respect for a kid who was plucked out obscurity from soccer team by Greg, groomed, then leaves. But I guess that’s the way it is these days.
