An interesting what-if on Michigan-Rutgers game 2020

Losses similar to this one over the last 3 years continue to just fustrate and piss me off.

“Brand name” Teams that were ripe and gave us every opportunity to beat them, we couldn’t get it done. And if we did , we’d be an average respectable program.

The 2 games vs Michigan 2020 & 2021
The 2 games vs Neb 2020 & 2022
The 2 games vs IOWA 2019? & 2022
And the missed FG loss to Illinois- 2020?

"If Rutgers makes that kick and defeats Michigan 38-35 in OT, the Wolverines would’ve dropped to 1-4 and it is widely believed that they would have fired head coach Jim Harbaugh. There were calls for his job heading into the game as UM had just lost 49-11 at home to Wisconsin."

Reactions: redking
"The missed field goal allowed the game to go to double and triple overtime, where Michigan outlasted Rutgers 48-42. Since that game, Michigan is 25-3 with two dominant wins over Ohio State, two CFP appearances, and two Big Ten championships."

Too bad that GS wasn't happy with the FG kicker who wasn't "all in", because he would have made that kick.
