Was close, but this game was the worst loss in RU's entire basketball playing history.

Eddie is racking up some serious milestones during his coaching tenure.

highest first half points by any Big 10 team in conf. play since 1975 (40 freakin years)

injuries or not, this is well into Littlepaige territory.

RU would lose by 20 with the current full roster in play.

This is the B1G. Recruit B1G or lose BIG.

this is worse based on blowouts (losing by 25 or more)...13 for Eddie, 11 for Craig and there are still probably 8 25 plus losses to come in the next 11

You cannot compare the talent level in the A-10 in 1986-88 compared to Big 10 in 2015-2016. Also coaches today play their starters almost to the end not something they did back then

We are measuring games based on us being able to match their 1st half score in two halves of play. The BTN announcers stopped talking about the game about 10 minutes in. You name the superlative, it is THAT bad and we are Helpless to stop it.

Even the announcers were giving Eddie recommendations on substitutions to make. I'd never heard that before.

What subs, was Caliknight going to play? Want Laurent back, can't watch Goode anymore. It is like playing 4 on 5.

And one more thing. If Foreman was guarding there big kid, he looks the same as last year. How good is our weight training program? Most of the other teams look like they have been in weight room. Would be nice if Foreman was 6'8' 225 pounds.

5 years (3 WITH Jordan) and Lewis made 5 shot attempts yesterday. 1 single put back (a nice play) and the 4 others from 10-12 feet away. When in three years you cannot even teach your 1 big man how to play inside you know they are not getting coached on how to play the game.

the worst part of the game was when our 1st team is still in the game against Purdue's 3rd team and we still are getting beat on the scoreboard and in rebounds.

With Iowa coming in to town in less than 72 hours, a team that will press you the entire game, Corey Sanders played 36 minutes in a game we lost by 50.

How absurd is that?

Lewis has a bad knee, that kid came back when others left. He deserves credit not to be picked on.

These two stats should be in the record books:

1.Purdue had more rebounds ,63 ,than Rutgers had in points ,57.
2.Purdue had more points in the first half,59,than Rutgers had for the entire game,57.
