Anti bowl people question

Playoffs != Bowl.
I'm acutally watching this game, which i more than I can say for many of the upcoming bottom feeder bowls.

um strange question..those games are for schools competing at the highest level of their division
and I finally glanced at the bowl lineup and see that the games all leading up to Christmas are atrocious matchups...I mean truly atrocious

Truthfully I haven't even looked at the bowl schedule as I'm so dejected from this disaster of a season. But saying these teams are eight seeds and in the playoffs is not like teams playing in Dec. 28th bowls. They have a chance to move on and maybe pull off the miracle of a National Championship. Teams playing on Dec. 28th have no such chance. Like they say you have to be in it to win it. Problem is in BCS football only 4 teams can be in it.
If you don't like some of these Bowl games, then you should be some of the Rutgers fans complaining about the terrible OOC games that Rutgers scheduled trying to achieve a 6-6 season to get one of these Bowl games.
You lament about Greg, yet he played one of the easiest OOC game schedule in college football.
I think you will be much better off with Ash.

I have heard some good arguments against the playoffs.. Mostly how it should be 8 teams at least, to be fair, and that if you did that, you are asking the fans and families to gho to a conference championship, then 1st round, semis and the NC game. Since we know the schools get ripped off on ticket prices and seat locations, this is asking a lot of fans and families.
I might prefer bowl games and MULTIPLE national champions based on different poll results.
We do not NEED a definitive national champion as long as we all concede it is only an opinion.. Without a playoff between ALL conference champions you will never have a true national champion. So lets just go back to more meaningful conference titles and bowl games.

Willie Fritz to Tulane might be the best hire of the whole coaching carousel. Fritz being a proven successful HC, defense first and adaptive with explosive offense probably would have fit into B10 better than the air raid no defense guys. It will interesting to look back in 5 years and see where Ash/Durkin stack up to Babers, Fritz, Frost, Brohm, Taggert etc.
Fritz to navy was a no brainer. Think they will both look back and wish he waited a few days
I think Fritz wanted to go back to the offense he ran at Sam Houston rather than get labeled as an option guy. He is also going to get paid more at Tulane than GSU. Shedding the option label will make him a more palatable hire in the power 5.
No not at all. I love the FCS playoffs. I wish the FBS becomes that, but I know it won't. I do think however, there will be 8 teams involved and I think that's a good thing.
