It doesn't always take two years, it depends on the player and the extent of the injury. Most importantly, the surgery and rehab process has advanced dramatically.
Robert Martin had a knee injury in his senior year of HS but managed to play a significant role as a true freshman...if PJ is healthy then he starts easily, he is the best back on the team.
I also wouldn't necessarily say PJ starts easily. I doubt Martin and Hicks plan to give up that easily.
Agree entirely...provided that he is healthy. I liked the freshmen last year, but they were not PJ.PJ is hands down the best back on the team, when he is healthy. Martin and Hicks will play but IMO, a healthy PJ gets the bulk of the carries.
