I feel pretty good about where Eddie is right now. I watched last nights game. Thought there was more good basketball than bad compared to many of the past years. Young kids that make some exciting plays, but also some dumb mistakes. Sanders is a player. I don't follow recruiting all too closely but sounds like we have some good players coming in.

Is this not what we were hoping to be right now based on where this program was when Rice left?

Yes we have one Nigel Johnson who will be eligible next year. Supposed to be good but we've heard that before (see Bishop Daniels and Junior Etou for whom no one on this board seems to have anything good to say). He's also a very small guard.

Recruiting is supposed to be the life blood of a college team.For mens basketball the process has been disappointing and the won/loss record supports that conclusion.

Not sure why everyone is that terribly worried, Etou, Doorson, Freeman were all very late commitments.

How ever we MUST MUST MUST

-Find a big man that will be the replacement for Lewis
-Find another stretch 3 since we only have one in Laurent
-Find someone, anyone, that can hit a long range jumper.
