I wouldn’t expect open market option. But has this is a very fringe concept at best.

I bought season tickets right after Covid year in the 200's. Pretty good seats on the aisle. I am an alum from 1990's and sat through Bob Wenzel and the infamous UMass sit in game when Calipari was coaching them and they had Marcus Camby. My interest was peaked again in early Pike years with Geo and Corey Sanders. I liked the hustle and the defense to scrap out wins. It was an activity that my kids enjoyed with me. The past 2 years there have been little of that hustle and I have more family and work commitments which is why I am reconsidering the season ticket renewal. I understand fans who have had the 100 level seats and would not want to give them up. Little easier for me as I think I can buy similar tickets for a few games per year. I will always be a fan but sometimes life gets in the way.
I doubt Rutgers could pull off any initiative as successful as congestion pricing tbh

Is he related to the woman who used to bring a book and read during the game? Yes that was happening as well.
If you're referring to th lady that sat on the aisle she was a huge RU donor and usually only read her book prior to the game-- during the game she held scorecard like at a baseball gsme ,tracking points etc.
If the product is good people will pay. I renewed my Tennessee football tickets last week….including the 10% fee. But the product is good in every way…on the field…pregame…the whole weekend is awesome. Not sure we will ever get to the point where people will be willing to pay extra…we don’t fill the stadium as it is. When I went to look at my RU renewal yesterday, I saw that there are a number of open seats in 104 and 106. These are prime seats that it appears anyone from off the street can come in and purchase for season tix. We’ve gone backwards and have a lot of ground to make up.That's going to be added sooner rather than later, as several programs have already begun to add it to football tickets.

He has been saying this for a long time now. No Rutgers would equate to no social life and friends and that’s a stretch because all his friends are on the internet.
The stadium staff doesn’t check tickets and who is sitting where. Three minutes into a game, the hordes descend to the best seats. Folks who pay for them are being fleeced.
You are right. I sit in 105 and it’s like musical chairs all game long. People sit in seats that aren’t their own….get chaise out…only to land in another seat….and so on. We have fewer loyal fans and it enables the mess to go on.
