He spent this past years as The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback coach and also played QB for Chip Kelly up in New Hampshire. He helped produce Boston College first time in a long time Heisman candidate as Its Offensive Coordinator. This guys very young but very experienced. He knows Chip Kelly's spread options and Urban Meyers power option like the back of his hands. He'd probably be perfect on this staff. Ash can hire him as Co-OC and running backs coach. I'd rather this guy if a Ash has no interest in bringing Wilson back

With Ash influencing the defense and this guy influence on offense, Rutgers will be a top 10 team very very quickly. We've got the athletes here already! Rutgers needs some good OL recruiting, game day prep and great game day coaching. This guy could very well be the missing link.

We have an OC.

I don't want to see Ash hire another grad assistant. This guys young and has experience with what coach Ash is trying to do.

He is so good that Temple went 4-7 in 2012 and at Boston College went 7-6 in 2013 and 2014. I Guess it's the players and not the coach. Day might be the reason Chip Kelley didn't succeed with the eagles.

You're really going to play that game? I'm not suggesting we hire him as a head coach.

There we have it folks... the hidden agenda finally surfaces. Say it like you own it. Say it with pride... NO MORE GRAD ASSISTANTS. This board is about expressing your opinions.:clap::clap:

Btw, a dead body would be an improvement over what we had to experience the last few years. And I don't agree with all of Ash moves, but I'm willing to give it a chance. I think Ash is an upgrade from Flood and that's a start. I don't think Ash is as stubborn as Flood to make changes if something doesn't work out.

Ash is not gonna hire someone he doesn't know who has more experience than he does. Not unusual for a young head coach.

what happened to hiring some coaches with NJ ties like both Hobbs and Ash talked about at the start time of both of their hires?

Did Ohio State worry about that when they were raiding our state for our 5-4 star kids these past few years?

As a elite school Ohio State can cherry pick the best recruits nationwide. It doesn't have anything to do with Rutgers inability to recruit the best NJ players.

Young head coach. LOL,when did they start getting younger than us? I was just getting used to athletes retiring younger than I am, now the coaches are younger than me too?

Coaches reach out to guys on hear say all the time. Tom Herman even hired Todd Orlando on a whim. He heard the guy was very good and available so he made the man his DC. Coach Ash needs reach out to Ryan Day and get him on the staff.

If you feel that Ash needs to get him, maybe you should let him know,..but in the end it's his team and his call and he probably has his own list of candidates for every spot on his staff and maybe 3 deep. who knows besides Ash?
