Watching that dude punk our guys every chance he could get was really annoying. Granted dude could ball, but I think JG was the only Rutgers player to jaw back at him. Maybe Carlton did, too. Look, I don't want a team of punks and thugs, and we don't have that. AND most importantly, we had no business talking (meaning starting any talk) given the scoreboard. That said, I wish ALL of our guys had shown a little more backbone, not just the 2 mentioned above. It's like a double whammy, he was making us look like p#ssies. The score was enough, didn't need that. I wanted to punch the dude thru my tv, hahaha.

I want our team to be a bit more feisty and nasty, but I guess that comes with winning. Hard to do in a game like that I guess. Sigh.

My favorite of all-time was the Washington State DB talking smack to Leonte Carroo, but Carroo just stared straight ahead and chose to dominate on the field.

Unfortunately our WRs couldn't back it up, so no sense talking.

Yeah I remember him. Pac12 has a lot of punk a$$ thugs who talk it seems. I don't see that as much with the B1G teams.

Why was Wes Walker (not a fast WR) always open against NFL competition in the NE offensive scheme? Yet we can't get any of our WRs open against bunch of college punks. We have a real coaching problem when it comes to offense. All you need is a WR with good hands. Foot speed is not that important as long as they can beat a sleeping tortoise.

This sounds like Beer Talk. Is it happy hour where you live ?

Wes Welker was slow?

Kinda late, but I have to say, I was thinking the same exact thing. It was hard to watch... even with the huskies up big this Victor dude kept grilling our guys after every play. I was glad Grant would occasionally snap back at him, but really he was the only person on our team who was in a position to do so.

To be honest though I dont think our team was scared or anything... Ash seemed really dead set on driving home that they must play for each other and stay focused no matter what. In truth, our guys probably had that guy on mute and were more concerned with making the next play. Letting their teammates down was probably 10x more important to them than getting shown up by some loudmouth. That said, it was a particularly annoying sight especially watching helplessly from home. We just need to get good, then maybe we could have a nasty swagger of our own for these occasions.

I would take him on our team any day. In fact watching- I was thinking man the Cowboys should draft him next year. Give me a defense fill of Azeem Victor's

Are we talking Tom Brady to Wes Welker? Or Peyton Manning to Wes Welker?

Azeem has a motor that does not quit and apparently it is attached to his mouth also. I love the fact that he backs it all up with his play though.

Azeem is the one true asshole on Washington's roster. When he's not jawing to the opposing team, he's running his mouth to the refs after they flag him. He missed the first half of the Oregon game last season after he leveled the USC QB after the whistle and got ejected from the game. That one got him in some hot water with the coaching staff. With that said, he's NFL bound for sure. He's going to love the NFL ... it's the one place he can run his mouth all day long with zero consequences.
