how many new years day bowls do we get? How does PSU have two more points than Michigan with the same breakdown?

Ok... now the next question. we have two New Years day bowls. If Wisconsin wins B1G they go to Rose. Will B1g really send 3 loss PSU to a New Years day Bowl over a one loss team they lost to by 30 points?

We will need to see who goes to the final 4 1st. The B10 may have an outside chance of getting 2 teams in. Penn St is going to one of the better bowls this year. If not a Jan 1 game then probably a Dec 30-31 or Jan 2 game. CBS projects them to the Cotton bowl right now.

I think it goes
Playoffs
Bama
OSU
Clemson
Washington

Rose
Wisconsin

Outback
Michigan

PSU then gets first choice of where they want to go.

Wouldn't Rose be the winner of the PSU vs Wisconsin game, assuming Clemson and Washington don't lose in their conference championship games? The the loser of PSU / Wisconsin will get their choice?

Big Ten has the Citrus Bowl also if Orange Bowl takes an SEC team.

Edit: If they don't take Orange, Big Ten has it.

3 teams in playoff bowls, plus one in Outback, or 2 in playoff bowls + Outback and Citrus.
