BACATOLOGY: 2/19 NCAA TOURNAMENT ANALYSIS****RUTGERS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY OUT AS OF 2/22***

Cuse going to win...its a Q1 tonight as NC State is 75 but might be tomorrow....3-7 Q1 3-1 Q2 so will be 6-8 Q1/2 either way

win over UNC, 2x Pitt, 2x NC State

if they can beat Va Tech at home and win at Clemson, things could get interesting

NC State still has a final 3 of at UNC, Duke, at Pitt but will have to win all 3 of those to make a case

Had to switch to Creighton UConn.
Just find it more entertaining

Probably not fair but my eyes glaze over with Texas Tech and Texas A&M Hoops

good lord this was the longest regulation game I have ever seen......took 30 minutes to play the last 2 minutes. 72 foul shots combined

Arky wins 78-71

It looks like the win by Arkansas would move the Texas A&M road loss to them a Q2 tomorrow while this home loss would be a Q3 so the Aggies would still have 4 Q4 losses not 5. It still not good because the committee knows Arkansas is not good.

Wake beating Pitt. Might be in
Princeton on the bubble. Might be in
Mississippi State on Bubble. Might be in
Seton Hall Probably in.

Really was a fine and tough schedule.

When does Syracuse move into bubble territory?

Why college hoops so much more fun than football.

BYU going to beat Baylor.
Cuse beats NC State
UConn loses to Creighton
VCU blown out by UMass.
Wiscy squeaks by Maryland
Arkansas beats A&M
Utah State beats San Diego State

Just a random Tuesday night. Not staying up for TCU result…,

Good luck making heads or tails of all this.

don't worry by 11AM i will have it all figured out

BAC- Does the AAC conference get 3 bids if FAU doesn’t win their conference tournament?

Iowa has a offense that generates over 75 points a game.Rutgers has a offense that is lucky to score 65 points.
Judging on what Creighton did to UConn, if Iowa somehow makes the tourney, UConn doesn’t want to see them. Maybe not Nebraska either. Threes the great equalizer.

this loss will probably drop Michigan State down a seed line to 8 for now
I have to hand it to Iowa. I didn't think they would be this close to the bubble at this point. Man, would I love to add Payton Sandfort to next year's RU roster.

FIRST FOUR BYES: NEBRASKA, NEVADA, BUTLER, SETON HALL

LAST FOUR IN: UTAH, PROVIDENCE, TEXAS A & M, NEW MEXICO

FIRST FOUR OUT: VILLANOVA, GONZAGA, CINCINNATI, MISSISSIPPI

NEXT FOUR OUT: WAKE FOREST, IOWA, VIRGINIA TECH, KANSAS STATE

ON DECK: COLORADO, INDIANA STATE, RUTGERS, SAINT JOHN'S

Just some commentary.....some major changes given the Nova win over Butler and Texas A & M loss to Arkansas. Both schools do remain in the field with their bulky loss totals of 11. What is also interesting is when you start evaluating different groups of schools and digesting their metrics and comparing them it can move schools that did not play. Other results around the country like BYU or St Marys do have a trickle down effect. That is what happened with Utah and Gonzaga as I moved the Utes into the field and moved the Zags out and actually behind Villanova right now who moves to my first team out. Also deeper down Nova moving to that first out spot does boost a profile like St Johns. Now the Johnnnies are only 14-12 and that loss total will ultimately be their undoing.

Bac, why is Wake still out? I thought #26 NET and #21 KenPom are more than enough.

one quad 1 win...1-5 in Q1....5-9 in Q1/2

only 2 wins vs schools in field...Florida and Virginia'

SOR at 51

They closed the gap between them at the first 4 out but will need to beat Duke on Saturday to get into the projected field

Also Creighton is now a 4 seed for me...in play for a 3

Wisconsin drops to a 5...also with the San Diego State loss to Utah State, they drop out of first in MWC so I will slide them back to 5 and elevate A10 AQ Dayton to the 4. Utah State is now up to a 6. Michigan State fell to a 8 last night.

Holy shit Penn State going to the line to shoot 3 with 4 seconds left, down 2 at home to Illinois. Crazy ending

Wow, makes all 3, Illinois miss a floater to win.

Interestingly game not played at Bryce Jordan, rather some smaller venue that is packed with students. Good atmosphere there for once

Nebraska trying to get first road conference win at Assembly Hall tonight.

If they don't do it here they have remaining road games at Ohio State and then I imagine one they can't lose at Michigan.

Cincy in trouble late at home vs Oklahoma State...would be a Q3 home loss giving them 2 and putting them in a heap of trouble with road games at TCU and Houston upcoming

its just terrible for the strength of the conference...its down big time. Illinois and Wisconsin are going to have to scratch and claw to be top 4 seeds

Big East, SEC, Big 12 have more high end schools
