We lost again today at Seton Hall in 12 innings 10-9. we led 9-7 going into the bottom of the 9th and let SHU rally to tie. We lost in the bottom of the 12th with 2 outs and no one on when we gave up an inside the park home run. Yesterday SHU beat us 9-6 at RU. In both games we out hit SHU but yesterday we made 3 errors and in both games we walked way too many guys. Our pitching has not been good at all this season. We are now 13-21 on the season. We just keep giving games away.

Getting swept by SHU in that fashion. Not a good look

I read that the ball went over the center fielder's head to the deepest part of the park. I attended the game at RU but watched the game on the computer at SHU. The vision cut out in the last inning. As fast as Harris is this is hard to believe. Maybe someone fell down or there might have been a poor relay. I don't understand this as well.

I think I've finally seen enough of JL as head coach. The program is stagnant which is reflected in the mid-week games. Time for a COMPLETE REGIME CHANGE on the diamond IMHO.

Agree Nuts. I gave him a lot of slack, because of the respect and admiration I had for Freddy. The program is just not getting better. The lack of talent combined with a lack of fundamentals means it is time for a change. I am not quick to call for coaches jobs, but it is time.

A move is probably necessary. No reason to not being to compete in the B1G. Umich and UMD are better than everyone else. After them everyone is average. We're 2-4 in the conference right now. We should win some more weekend series this year.

I said this in another thread. UMD is not very good. Michigan should be the only post season team from the Big 10. The rest of the teams aren't even average.

Well, they're 26-11 and 10-3 in conference. So it appears they're better than the rest of the B1G. I noticed they lost 2 out of 3 verse Nebraska. They took 2 out of 3 verse Umich. They can easily beat them in the B1G tournament. Btw, that 26-11 is with a real out of conference schedule unlike most of the B1G

Marylands SOS is 80th. Not exactly murders row. NU's is 43 which isn't much to bargain about either. With Marylands RPI sitting at 32 it would be best that they win the Big 10 tourney with a SOS of 80 TP go to post season. Maryland is 5-8 against the top 50 which hurts as well. Michigan is 5-3 against the top 50.
Big 10 baseball is just bad.
