BC's end of game management was far worse...

We would have needed a Hail Mary to at the very least tie the game after the PAT, a very unlikely scenario. BC got gifted a ball on the Wafe Forest 1 with 29 seconds left and no time outs down by three, and they RUN THE BALL? They get stuffed and it is game over. At the very least, you throw the ball each time on roll outs so you can run out of bounds or throw the ball away if you are in trouble and kick the field goal as a last resort.

You get the ball at the 1 like that and there is no excuse for at least tying the game. Piss poor end-of-game management and BC should be the ones who should be getting laughed at by the media.

OF COURSE a successful Hail Mary is unlikely, but that doesn't mean it never works. It wins or ties several games a year.

And speaking of BC, chances are few of us ever know who Doug Flutie is if it wasn't for a successful Hail Mary...
