be in your seats by 7:30 the latest. The players will be completely jacked up when they run out of that tunnel to a packed house. Lets go baby! It's gameday!!!!

The stadium will be more than half empty at 7:30pm.

It would be almost impossible for me to get my group to stop tailgating early so they can be in their seats more than 30 minutes before kickoff. That would only happen if they were expecting the game to be more fun than the tailgate. But since they're mostly expecting a blowout loss, the tailgate should prove to be much more fun.

My sentiments exactly.

If you can't get into your seats by 7:30 when you've had all day to tailgate then why do you even get tickets?

What freakin' team runs out of the tunnel at 7:30 for an 8:00PM game? LOL, how about I'm in my seat at 7:55 when the team ACTUALLY does come out of the tunnel (either then, or a few minutes after 8, depending on actual KO time as dictated by BTN)?

Dont think you got the point here. We want a packed house for when the team does in fact run out of the tunnel. Did i say they run out at 7:30?
If you tell people to be in their seats by 7:30 they'll be in by 7:55, if you tell them to be in by 7:55 they'll be in by 8. Being in their super early is the way it should be. Pipe down before you get banned again.

Excuse me, lol?? "pipe down before I get banned again"? That's beyond hysterical. How on Earth can one read my comment, in this thread, and come up with the conclusion that

a) I need to "pipe down" and

b) I could get banned from said comment?

Are you hammered already?

Maybe change your wording a bit. I "get it," trust me, but so long as everyone is "in their seats" by the time the team comes out of the tunnel, not 30+ minutes earlier, we're all good, right? That was my point. Relax and enjoy your day.

Because we have season tickets that we bought 9 months ago. Each year we hope that the team will be very good, or at least competitive. But we buy season tickets knowing that even if the team is uncompetitive, at least we have good tailgating.

Don't get me wrong. We are still attending the game, and we will be in the stadium in time for kickoff. But there is pretty much no way I could convince my group to stop tailgating 30 minutes early to sit in a mostly empty stadium in anticipation of a blowout loss.
