Obviously, it's Eric Legrand. Chris can't be obtuse on how much of Eric is in the DNA of our football program. That's why it is so imprtant for the morale of the program to get Eric involved in the happenings of the program seamlessly. Eric's legacy is extremely important to not only the NJ community, but to the national paraplegic community.

This is an easy one to get right. He needs to get it right. Right now.

No.

Do you really think he is going to ignore him in any way? He is the face of our program and on Saturdays one of the voices as well. Eric will be a fixture just as Roy Campanella was to the Dodgers. I only hope he lives much longer..

He already succeeded in Recruiting the first person..... He needed to Recruit the fans and supporters.

You don't have that then you have nothing.

It's important to see if this guy understands RU. It would be a mini disaster if spring practice rolls along and it comes out that coach never reached out to Eric. That would be fodder for negative NJ.com writeups, deservedly. Spotting these issues before they have a chance to crop up has never been a strength for us.

He's trying to coach OSU in a bowl game, hold together the current class and recruit new players to a school he's spent one day at and you think Eric Legrand should be his first priority? Or even Hamilton? I appreciate the sentiment, but that's just ludicrous.

What's with all these posts demanding Ash to do stuff? How about you let Ash do his thing cause I'm pretty sure he's got this sh*t

Hamilton will help him get immediate wins more than any recruit on the board. Definitely his biggest recruit, though it appears based on Tweets that he is already in, regardless of Flood.

Where do some of you people come up with this stuff.

I hold Legrand in very high regard, and I think snubbing him would be a big mistake. If someone like you would not even make a five minute phone call to the guy to introduce yourself to him and welcome him into your program, then I'm sorry. I honestly felt this sentiment was sort of stating the obvious, but the fact that I was apparently wrong about that is maybe shining a light on one of our problems. And the fact that this benevolent suggestion is greeted with such rudeness by some is baffling and sad.

To me, details like that are important and must not be ignored.

I couldn't help but hear that Curb Your Enthusiasm theme start up in my head as I read this strange post. Awkward.

So that can't be the 7th thing he does? It must be the first? If it's 2nd or below on his "to do" list it qualifies as a snubbing?

First off, I agree Eric needs to continue to have an important role in our program.

But I'm not sold that Ash needs to stop everything he's doing to get Eric's buy-in immediately. The guy's life is a whirlwind. He's got a staff to hire, recruiting weekend, team to meet and learn, and a million other things. He's gotta get some face time with Eric for sure, but before all other things? I'm not so sure.

I was hoping he was gonna recruit a new cheerleader coach.
Maybe hire Kate Upton as the coach.

You all missed it Ash is modeling RU after osu well the very first person he must meet is our band director so our band looks and sounds and moves just like osu's band .
We do that and everyone will be so happy that no one will care about the game's score!
