Ok, Sorry, you probably thought this was a football thread, but keep reading, you won't be sorry especially in you like cheese.
Some relatives living in the Pacific North West turned me on to this about 15 years ago. The Washington State Creamery makes some of the best cheese you ever tasted. They pack it in tin so you can store and age it even further.
I highly recommend the Cougar Gold. Its a very good white cheddar. Its aged over a year and has that sharp flavor with a creamy taste with a crumbly-crystally texture that gets better as you age it. I forgot to order some or I would bring it to the tailgate this week. It goes is great for snacking with crackers, italian bread or a Baguette with salami or soppresata. Perfect at tailgates especially with Craft beer.
Try it, you won't regret it.
And if you are thinking why didn't I buy the Rutgers cheese, well, there is no Rvision type scandal here. I love the Ice cream the Food Science Dept makes for Ag field day, but as far as Know, there is no commercially available cheese.
