Actually like Illinois coming off a road win to get the season sweep and like Iowa at home coming off disappointing loss to Illinois. Think Purdue is a winner but it goes to the wire. Fun time of year for sure.

didn't get to see the game but Purdue escaped State College with a 84-80 OT win

The Big 10 tourney is going to be sick

What happens if Northwestern loses last three to Indiana, Michigan and then Purdue?

Illinois still alive...get to 9-9 and we shall see

if Northwestern loses its last 3 it will still be 9-9 in league....8-10 vs top 100 with no loss outside the top 100, they would then I think have to win 2 Big 10 tourney games and make the Big 10 semis to be solid although depending on how things shake out, they could still get in as that 8-10 mark vs top 100 is still decent compared to most schools..the win at Wisconsin is a real good one and their road/neutral mark is pretty solid, that win over Dayton is also real good

Very good game. Penn State was ahead most of the game. Have to give them credit Penn State was very good last night. Purdue was forced to take many shots late in the shot clock and made some tough shots. Somehow Purdue just found a way to win it.

Take Minnesota off the bubble and punch their dance ticket after winning at Maryland

Little Ricky going to battle with Collins for Coach of Year....I actually lean with Ricky now, from 8 wins to 21 in one season. Lots of close losses last year plus a top 25 recruiting class and look what he has done...and overcome a 5 game conference losing streak and has now won 6 in a row

He is earned the right to have the little dropped from his name. I have oodles of respect for the way his team plays.

recapping last night...

Ohio State throttled Wisconsin which may have torpedoed the Badgers chances of winning the Big 10 regular season title

Michigan State won easily over Nebraska

this weekend

Penn State at Minnesota
Purdue at Michigan
Iowa at Maryland
Northwestern at Indiana

Wisconsin at Michigan State
Illinois at Nebraska

Some big matchups with NCAA implications. Minnesota playing for seed...can they keep winning and get a 4? Maryland has been sputtering a bit and need to take care of business at home. I think Michigan will get that feather in their cap win and lock in the NCAA by beating Purdue. Indiana's last gasp as trying to make a NCAA case against a Northwestern team feeling the pressure of needing another win. Can Sparty lock in by beating sagging Wisconsin? Does anybody want to win the Big 10 regular seaosn title? Illinois still has faint NCAA hopes but must win at Nebraska if they want to live to see another day.

Minnesota took care over PSU

big surprises though...Iowa won at Maryland..got to give alot of credit to the job McCaffery has done this year in a rebuilding year. MD in a tailspin with RU up next.

Michigan took a major step toward locking up a NCAA bid by easily dispatching of Purdue. Does anyone want to win the Big 10 title

Indiana up 10 over Northwestern at half, Hoosiers need this game to keep their slim NCAA hopes alive. Northwestern has struggled to clinch its NCAA at large spot

and the 2nd half is a total reversal, Northwestern has dominated the 2nd half and with about 7 minutes left leads 54-48 , at half it was 36-26, the Cats have outscored the Hoosiers 28-12

Indiana down 62-55 late went on a 8-0 run to end the game and win 63-62...heartbreaking loss for Northwestern who could have moved to near lock status with a win, so now even with the loss they are on the good side of the bubble but still leaves them needing a win somewhere. Indiana keeps their NCAA hopes alive but needs to win their next 2.

Better beat Michigan because I think Purdue beats them easily.

the only way Northwestern does not make the tourney is if they lose the last two..both of them at home and then loses first game in the Big 10 tourney, there just are not very many bubble teams and the ones that are there have ALOT of losses and less top 100 wins than Northwestern. I think they win one of those two

Watch for Illinois, if they can win at Nebraska, things will get interesting as that sets up a huge home game with Michigan State to keep their hopes alive, win that and beat Rutgers and they are right there if they could also get a Big 10 tourney win of note.

Indiana finishes at Purdue and Ohio State...win them and they are right in the thick of things as well.

Indiana is 6-10 in conference. I don't think they deserve consideration unless they win at Purdue and Ohio State.
