Wow. Looks like it's starting already. And if Tennessee craps the bed this year you can bet this Johnson kid will decommitt as well.
I never thought he would keep his commitment. He seems like the male equivalent to the Kardashian clan. Just liked all the attention. He will end up elsewhere.

I am really happy with how our QB situation looks not only now but in the future. Not saying you don't take another one if he is a good player, but my guess is that we already have some good talent already here.

I said it before, but we dodged a bullet with JG. Russo is a better fit for a bunch of reasons. His ego would never let him go here and I don't think we would ever bring him on unless it was for another position. So yeah good luck with all that JG.
I think bottom line is he sold TN on the fact that all these guys would follw, and when none did....time to look at 2017.

KF should buy the whole team orange and white kicks put JG's number on them with the red circle with the slash through it. Kind of reverse the respect shown to him and Rutgers by the guaratano's

While we're killing JG and his Dad here, you can bet your season tickets and Yellow parking tag that Jim Harbaugh and James Franklin look at JG's situation as a huge opportunity to widen their one-way NJ pipeline. Count on it. We are our own worst enemy. Perhaps we should treat this as a variation on the Marques Ford situation.

As Mr. Twister wisely stated previously, I don't know how great this is for us. At least he had not chosen us and went to a different conference so we wouldn't have to play him. I would hate to see him now transfer within the BIG10 and having to play him every year. Even though it would be SO INCREDIBLE for our Russo led team to just destroy a Guarantano led BIG10 foe and have Turay literally tossing him around all day long.
And honestly, if he wanted to come to Rutgers now I wouldn't mind letting him come just to be there everyday to push Russo... even though Russo seems like the type of kid that doesn't really need to be "pushed". But if JG dd come back then Flood should and would make sure Russo is clearly the guy with the QB job and he would have to lose the job for JG to take it from him.

Nope. Ohio State has their quarterback for the class, Tristan Wallace. They already have a 4-star for 2017 committed as well.
Can't speak for everybody else but can say was initially disappointed but moved on. Russo pick-up definitely helped!

All I am saying is competition always makes the best players even better. Having two Elite 11 winning QB's going against each other will OBVIOUSLY make them BOTH that much better. And obviously Russo would and should get the nod and go in as owning the QB job and for him to have to lose it to JG. But by having another Elite 11 finalist behind Russo rather than some 3 star QB would really force Russo to constantly be taking his game to new levels.
Except he didnt go to his dream school (ohio state) because he doesnt want to compete. these are his words not ours.
