Is that Penn State stabbing the conference in the back?

Don't forget your win in the BIG-ACC challenge!Originally posted by Pils86:
RU did its job where it is most important, going 5-0 OOC in football, including a thrashing of UNC in the bowl game.
Iowa beat UNC at UNC this year, was 12-6 in the league...tied with MSU, and crushed Davidson by 30 in the NCAA tourny.....dumb cartoon.
It's thinking like this that best illustrates how the big business of college athletics has ruined college athletics. Yes, when TV and conference execs Skype from their respective fancy boardrooms, football is what moves the negotiation needle. With that said, our schools participate in many sports. Basketball certainly matters to me along with football. As a fan, I enjoy my school winning conference and national championships in many sports. Personally, I relish in soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and basketball titles, too.Originally posted by daneman100:
Well if Wisconsin and MSU are the hat Ohio State is the person. Sorry, football drives the bus and their national championship is huge towards the next tv contract.

Absolutely. When your 10th place team is still a Top 25 program that year, its hella deep.Originally posted by LC-88:
Perspective. Wrestling 10th in the Big Ten = 1st or 2nd in any other conference.
Well, over a 1/3 of all Wrestling programs are ranked in the Top 25 (only 73 men's wrestling program's in Division 1).Originally posted by brista21:
