Billy,I don't know if you read these forums,but I want too tell you what great kid and inspiration you are too this Rutgers program.I'm not a very emotional type guy( although my posts may beg too differ..lol),and I was pretty teared up with the latest video of you enjoying your pin over Riley Shaw of Cleveland State.You took alot heat over the years,and me being one of your toughest critics.I think making the Round of 12 was an honor,but I know you wanted that AA nod.Hopefully,down the road,you will compete again and maybe get an AA nod at the University Nationals.Til then,good luck young man,you will have a full life as a great mentor ,teacher,and father someday.

I think it's safe to say that everyone around wrestling (other than Lehigh fans) were rooting for Billy last night. To lose your 1st match (a pigtail) then come back to win 2 Friday night, 2 more in the early session yesterday, and to miss out on AA status by a single point (and a near-miss TD at the end of the 1st period), had to be heartbreaking for the young man. Hopefully I get to shake his hand, and tell him how proud I am of him, as an alumnus, later tonight.
Had the opportunity to speak with him at the social, and his is the epitome of Rutgers Man. What a class act, and a great kid.
