I just completed my annual "coaches" spreadsheet encompassing the Power 4 and Big East Conferences, as well as the teams that Arizona and Rutgers are playing from lower level conferences.
Of note - 2 RU grads are assistants in the Big East - Myia Johnson at Xavier and Kahdijah Rushdan at Marquette. Rushdan was retained in spite of a change in head coach, where Cara Consuegra took over for Megan Duffy who took over at Virginia Tech when Kenny Brooks went to Kentucky.
Also of note - 2 old foes coaching at upcoming RU opponents -
- Stephanie Gaitley, probably best remembered as the Head Coach of Saint Joseph's as RU's time in the Atlantic 10 finished up, is now head coach at FDU. This is her 6th DI head coaching stint, for whatever its worth.
- and, serving as an Assistant Coach at Manhattan - former Seton Hall head coach Phyllis Mangina. That's a real blast from the past.
