Men's ranking is a huge statement for the program, which has had some lean times lately. Women have become a steady top 25 program - hoping they take the next step one of these years. Congrats to both teams!!!

MSoccer turnaround particularly impressive - things had gotten pretty bad. Wow in general most programs at least trending in right direction.

Now if we could just get this football thing straightened out.....

BC really going to be a watershed moment one way or the other. I hope we win but if we don't I hope we get blown out badly. If this is the end of the Ash era, we need to hit rock bottom fast, I'm not into long goodbyes. I know that sucks to say as a die-hard fan but if it's not going to happen with this coaching staff (and I'm not optimistic), we need something to drive quick and decisive action by Hobbs to send a message to the fans and the players that is simply this: We may not turn into Ohio St overnight but we sure as hell will not tolerate getting bitch-slapped every time we go against the programs that are farther along than we are.

And.....if Hobbs isn't ready to do and say that, then he should go too.

Truly is Ash's most important game. If he loses I dont think he coaches another home game at Rutgers. As a long time season ticket holder (and normally optimistic person) this pains me to think his time on the banks is coming down to this. But, if he can't beat BC he has to go.

If he beats BC, he still has to go, unless they follow it with 5 or 6 additional wins.

No matter what happens during this season our men's soccer team is just so much better than last year. The new coach has really made out team improve. It is so nice to see us being representative once again. Hobbs has done wonders with many hirings and fund raising. Football needs to step things up. They have been given every benefit over all the other RU teams for years and they need to finally show a pulse. At some point the football coaches & players must take accountability.

Today (@ UPenn) and Saturday (@Michigan) should be good tests. Bottom line though, the team has improved. I’d like to see us reach 10 wins with this schedule. 12 games left so 5-7 would be needed.

That would be a massively successful first year imo.
