Brad Wachtel Bracket

I hate the strength of schedule argument when we play two extra conference games, SHU, Wake. And Miami. Good UMass Lowell and historically good Temple.

That’s totally inaccurate, he loves RU. Got us as a higher seed than Lunardi right now.
I have followed him on Twitter a long time. Every year he says we haven’t done enough to make NCAAs .. last 3 years and we made it all 3 (including 2020) .. last year during 4 game winning streak he kept saying it wasn’t enough

A pessimistic RU fan?!?! You’ve seen these boards, right?

I’m not on Twitter but just looked and his last RU post on 1/5 was praising Mulcahy and explaining why loss without him won’t hurt as much.

Totally inaccurate. Can only assume this a parody post making fun of people who claim person x has it in for their school/team.

Brad is an incredibly proud Rutgers alumnus. Any program would be lucky to hire him for schedule construction, NCAA inclusion optimization and other highly technical/operational work.

As for him hating RU, that's a joke. He loves the University.

He's a true bracketologist and simply follows the predictive and results-oriented math.

IIRC, he was hung up on our NET last year moreso than others, but he had us in the play-in game as a 12 seed (we were an 11 seed)

He seems very objective to me, he's also in top 10 on the matrix so he's doing something right.

You want credit for playing a team that was good years ago?

Temple is a .500 team. Did beat Nova.
SHU is a bear of a traditional rival.
Miami and Wake are fine.
BIG plays two extra conference games.

So yes non conference schedule as a factor with any B1G team is extremely misleading.

Man I agree with you that non conference SOS is a stupid pointless metric but Temple sucks.

Its a bad loss...we had 2 guys out but should have won anyway.

Cliff should have dominated. Cam had deer in headlights and hes played schools better than Temple previously

Nobody knew that when we scheduled them, they are still .500, we were missing two starters and they did beat a down Nova.

The point being is it’s just a stupid metric.

Did I count 9 Big Ten teams? Seems high.

Michigan State wins at Wisconsin tonight 69-65 and is 4-1 tied with Purdue for first.

But what does he do with his life lol. Bracketology doesn’t pay the bills unless you’re Lunardi and co

I agree it’s fun! It’s why the Hoops tourney is so fun. NCAA football just doesn’t have the same fun factor. Not talking about ratings.
